Meet Molly Sanders, LPC (she/hers)

Molly is a compassionate and dynamic therapist dedicated to supporting individuals across the lifespan on their journey towards healing.

Molly’s therapeutic approach is characterized by warmth, receptiveness, and collaboration, with a dose of humor. She creates a supportive space for clients to explore and work through painful experiences towards healing and growth.

Drawing from Attachment Theory, the latest insights from Neuroscience, and Polyvagal Theory, Molly integrates a holistic understanding of human experiences into her practice. Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), she employs this therapy to assist clients in processing and integrating difficult experiences, fostering resilience. Molly guides clients in recognizing that patterns and beliefs that were once adaptive may now be barriers to growth and healing, encouraging them to explore new perspectives and ways of relating to themselves and others.

Molly works with a diverse range of clients and presenting concerns, with a particular focus on supporting individuals through life transitions, depression, anxiety, parenting challenges, dysregulation, difficulties in relationships, and complex trauma.

In her work with children, Molly utilizes child-centered play and creativity as therapeutic tools to process difficult emotions and situations. She provides parenting strategies that transcend traditional behavioral approaches, emphasizing attunement, co-regulation, and empathy in caregiver-child interactions. Molly collaborates with parents and caregivers to understand their child’s unique needs and strengths, fostering a supportive environment for their growth and development.

Through her compassionate and collaborative approach, Molly empowers clients to navigate their challenges, cultivate self-compassion, and embark on a transformative journey towards healing and fulfillment.
