Amanda Boerboom, LPC-IT (she/hers)

I am grateful and honored to walk alongside clients as they deepen their connection to themselves, break through stuck patterns, and move toward greater resilience, clarity, belonging, and embodied wholeness.

I bring a compassionate, trauma-informed, and integrative approach to healing that honors both the intelligence of the body and the complexity of the human experience. As a licensed LPC-IT and with advanced training in Somatic Experiencing®, my work bridges evidence-based practices with body-based wisdom to support sustainable, transformative change.

In addition to my training and experience as a psychotherapist, I bring nearly a decade of experience as a certified somatic coach, yoga instructor, and group facilitator—all grounded in a deep commitment to holistic care. Prior to that, I spent 14 years as an educator, supporting students and collaborating with parents and families. This background continues to inform my clinical work through a lens of curiosity, presence, and a commitment to helping clients reconnect with their inherent strength and wisdom.

Amanda Boerboom

I specialize in supporting clients navigating trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, parenting challenges, relationship issues, identity exploration, and nervous system dysregulation. My therapeutic approach integrates Somatic Experiencing®, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, movement, breathwork, and polyvagal-informed practices. I am passionate about helping individuals reclaim a sense of aliveness, agency, and authenticity by bridging cognitive insight with embodied healing.

I work with children (ages 10+), individuals, and couples, offering care that is attuned to each client’s unique story and needs. Whether in one-on-one sessions or group spaces, I strive to create affirming, inclusive, and collaborative environments where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. My work is grounded in strengths-based, culturally responsive, and social justice-oriented frameworks.
