We are In-network with the following Insurance Providers

Insurance

It is your responsibility to cover all therapy costs that are not covered under your insurance plan.

It is your responsibility to contact your insurance company to inquire about your coverage. Even if we are in network with your insurance plan, most couple’s therapy is not covered by insurance plans and need to be paid out of pocket. Please ask us if you have questions about this.

We do not bill insurance for marital counseling, as it is not considered a “medical necessity” by our contracted health insurance providers. We do offer couples, martial and premarital counseling, and payment is due at the time of session. We accept HSA, Flex Spending cards, and major credit cards for payment of couples, marital and premarital counseling.

Intern and “In Training” post master’s clinicians are unable to bill all of our commercial insurance policies. Contact us to inquire about which insurance policies are covered. Interns and LPC-IT clinicians offer reduced self pay rates.

*Please confirm with your therapist that they are able to accept your insurance

Sessions

Length of therapy and frequency of sessions will be determined by your needs and goals during the first few sessions.

Our role is to help you reach your goals as quickly and efficiently as possible. We understand there is a significant time and financial commitment to your participation in the therapeutic process.

Generally, therapy will be shorter, less frequent, and therefore more cost effective for people who are willing and able to actively work on their goals during and between sessions.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Please notify us if you would like to receive a Good Faith Estimate before initiating services at Kind Therapy.
